The Highlands Biological Station is the umbrella organization for the Laboratory, Highlands Nature Center, and Botanical Garden. The Station is supported, in part, by the Highlands Biological Foundation.
Mission: To foster education and research focused on the rich natural heritage of the Highlands Plateau, while preserving and celebrating the integrity of the “biological crown of the southern Appalachian Mountains.”
