If you are involved in research and could use extra funds to support your work, please think about submitting a Yarbrough Grant. The due date is approximately 4/15 each year and you will need to get letters of support. This is a great opportunity to receive funding at the regional level that is competing with other undergraduate institutions.
The Biology majors at Elon are already CANCAS members so you just need your advisor to be a member of the North Carolina Academy of Sciences.
If you are awarded, there are a few required items:
1. present your work at next years NCAS meeting (last weekend of spring break)
2. submit a short summary of how the money was used
