Internships and Jobs with National Wildlife Federation

Taken from their page:
"Through the Internship program, the National Wildlife Federation brings students and recent graduates to its offices nationwide, where they can experience many aspects of NWF's conservation mission, including work on endangered species, land stewardship, and protecting our nation's water. Departments benefiting from the skills interns provide include conservation, education, fundraising, communications, legal and publications.
Working side-by-side with knowledgeable professionals and receiving support from the internship coordinator, interns develop a variety of professional and personal life skills. Internship projects support commonsense conservation in communities and throughout the nation. For undergraduates or those returning to higher education after an internship, NWF's Campus Ecology Fellowship program offers the chance to apply these new skills to practical campus projects.
Founded in 1936, NWF is the nation's largest member-supported conservation organization, with nine field offices, as well as the National Advocacy Center in Washington, DC. The National Wildlife Federation provides extensive opportunities for professional development within its organization and beyond.
By encouraging innovative ideas and multicultural perspectives, NWF provides a gateway through which you can launch an effective career in conservation and strengthen the environmental movement at the same time. Moreover, by diversifying our organization through the contributions of interns from a variety of backgrounds, NWF (and ultimately the conservation community) is learning important lessons for making conservation relevant and effective in the 21st century."

Marine Conservation Institute is a non-profit scientific and conservation advocacy organization that has been working since 1996 to promote cooperation essential to protecting and restoring the Earth’s biological diversity.  From our headquarters in Seattle WA and our Washington DC and California offices, we work to protect marine life around the United States and beyond by encouraging research and training in marine conservation biology, bringing scientists together to examine crucial marine conservation issues, conducting policy research to frame the marine conservation agenda, leading outreach efforts to educate scientists, the public and decision makers on key issues, and building partnerships to solve problems affecting marine life and people.
